My favorite winter break is a getaway to my cabin in northwestern Wisconsin for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. The ice-covered lake is beautiful, and it’s fun to enjoy winter outdoors!
My husband and I love exploring places neither of us has been. We like to alternate between relaxation and adventure; our most recent getaways include Belize, Greece, Aruba, and the US Southwest.
I love a good warm-weather destination; however, it’s Bayfield, Wisconsin, that warms our heart! The town has all of the hallmarks my family enjoys – off-season quiet, snowshoeing and skiing the trails, cozy fires, togetherness, and time to appreciate the simple things in life.

Living in Michigan, I like to head anyplace where the temperatures are above 60 degrees! I typically travel to Florida and enjoy Panama City Beach. The white sand, emerald green waters, and great food is a big draw.
I love visiting Bonaire, part of the ABC Islands in the Caribbean. Designated as a marine sanctuary in 1979 and accessible to snorkelers, the coastline boasts more than 350 species of fish and sixty species of coral living in Bonaire’s reef.
A warm weather trip to lucky Las Vegas always delivers great weather, ample entertainment, and fun. Where else do you have a chance to come home with more money than the cost of the trip? Viva life. Viva Vegas.”

We are fortunate to have family and friends in Florida, so our family enjoys getting down there to warm up a bit during the long winter months. A little heat and sunshine go a long way in breaking the winter up.
My favorite winter getaway location is…home! We enjoy taking time off and spending it with our family and friends.
Our family likes to hit Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. It isn’t a tropical getaway, but hiding in a cabin up in the mountains always seems to be a nice relaxing time away from home.
