Every year, my wife makes holiday cookies to share with friends, family, and colleagues. It’s a big production with over 15 kinds of cookies packed in festive boxes, but it’s so much fun to share these treats with people we love!
My husband and I own a Christmas tree delivery service called Santa’s Tree Delivery. We dress up as elves, play holiday tunes, bring candy canes, and deliver Christmas joy to over 100 families each season!
Christmas is my favorite holiday by far. My mother passed over seven years ago, and I promised her that I will give a present from her to the family every year – everyone loves and cherishes these personal gifts.

My favorite holiday tradition is baking orange glazed carrot cookies and decorating sugar cookies with my grandma. Afterwards we treat ourselves to some hot chocolate, a cookie, and a Hallmark movie!
Baking and decorating cookies with friends and family! We do a large gathering every year and bake dozens. Admittedly, the decorating gets a bit interesting as the night goes on. People can get quite creative with seasonal drinks and frosting!
I absolutely love Christmas Eve. We lounge around the house until mass at 4:00 p.m. Then we enjoy a family dinner and finally let our girls unwrap presents. My parents started the tradition of staying the night on Christmas Eve to spend Christmas morning with us.

We have a several decade-long Thanksgiving tradition in Larimore, ND: Family, most importantly 102-year- old Great Grandma Bernice. A perfect turkey dinner with all the fixings. Old- school BINGO, complete with silver dollar payouts. Family stories and laughs all day long.
My favorite holiday tradition is spending Christmas morning with my wife and daughter. After opening gifts, I make my special seafood eggs Benedict for the family (sometimes with Bloody Marys). We eat and celebrate the day together.
To help Santa find our home, the kids make “reindeer bait” (glitter and oatmeal) to sprinkle on the driveway. When it’s time to open presents, we draw names from a Santa hat and share what we love most about that person.
